About the Artist

Katrina Boza Leggett is an artist educator based in Arlington, TN, who creates vibrant works in acrylic, watercolor, and gouache. With a BA in Art History and a Master’s in Education from the University of Memphis, Katrina combines her passion for teaching with her artistic practice as a middle school art teacher, seizing every spare moment to paint.

Her work invites viewers into a dreamlike world, where colors dance and blend to evoke reflection on moments both cherished and fleeting. Katrina believes that art is a powerful language that communicates when words fall short; our stories are intertwined with the places and people that nourish our souls, and her paintings serve as portals to shared experiences. Embracing the fluidity of paint, she delights in the brightness of color.
