About the Artist
Dr. Angela Brunson discovered a love and surprise talent for painting during the original Covid-19 quarantine, mere months before she completed her PhD in Musicology. As interest in her artwork grew, she changed course and became a full-time artist. She specializes in realistic animals and nature, always finding beauty that she must put on a canvas. She strives for emotional and spiritual connection through her art, with the ultimate goal of touching the soul. Her Animals in Love series captures the sweet, innocent bond of families in the wild. In her nature paintings, she favors bold, vibrant colors and dramatic scenes. From oceans and sunsets to distant galaxies, the splendor of creation supplies her with constant inspiration. Dr. Brunson offers paintings in acrylics, watercolors, and epoxy resin.
